My glove experience

The Pecs-week was an intensive period for me; I never worked abroad before, had no experience with factories, and it was a busy week. In total it was a very energizing experience for me. I found the Fingermarksprogram quite luxurious, with all the meetings and various locations, and one week was actually too short for me to absorb it all.

I was surprised of the scale of the factory: small, personal and craft based. We were warmly welcomed.

All the encounters inspired me, and I decided to work with the moment of meeting. In my opinion a fashionglove has a certain formality; it keeps distance. I wanted to crack that in my design; in my concept two people form a whole, by shaking eachother's righthand, as a puzzle piece that's completed.
